Cpanel & Direct Admin on a VPS128 account.

We have learned, with the help of one of our customers, that the VPS128 account does not have the horsepower to run an Admin interface (particularly Direct Admin and Cpanel). It all boils down to available RAM. 128 MB just isn’t enough to run all of the standard applications that are apart of these tools.

We can install and set it up without a problem, but after only a day or so of very little usage, the server begins to use Disk SWAP, which spells trouble for performance on any system.

So, the VPS128 account is particularly suited for smaller and simpler applications, and continues to be a great account if administered with a shell account.

Keep letting us know how things are going for you. We are 100% committed to ensuring that your Dedicated Hosting, VPS, or Virtual Hosting account is flawless.

I have been using it for basic web interface. E-mails and simple graphics. I haven’t had any problems with the 128 MB of ram.
