I have never gotten into the Twitter craze, but now I’m addicted! I read an article by Ann Handley about the benefits of Twitter and wanted to highlight a few things I found very interesting:
1. Twitter gives me an immediate pulse on news and events, and what people are talking about, often before any news outlet.
2. Closer to home, Twitter gives me a pulse on how MarketingProfs is being received, or what people are saying about us.
3. Twitter broadens our reach to a wider community — and lets me learn from them, too.
Now those were only a few of the ideas that were put out in this article found at http://mpdailyfix.com/2009/01/why_do_people_use_twitter.html but I feel that they are very valuable statements. So I decided to join and to Tweet about what a great company we have. I have learned that a lot of people have voiced their opinions about our company either for the better or for the worse. I never knew or even thought about some of the concerns that were presented. It has been great Tweeting back and forth with concerned individuals and resolving any problem or concern that was there! I feel like I am on the front lines helping people all around the world to keep their web hosting solutions alive!
