Product Features: RAID

The RAID options available on your dedicated server.

If you server supports RAID, you can choose this as an option during the ordering process. Each RAID level will require more Hard Disk Drives.

RAID 0 (Striping) - This is fast but not redundant. Faster reads and writes. (Minimum of 2 Disks)

RAID 1 (Mirroring) - Provides fault tolerance (redundancy). Faster reads, potentially slower writes. (Minimum of 2 Disks)

RAID 5 (Striping with Parity) - Can survive single drive failure. Slower reads and writes. (Minimum of 4 Disks)

RAID 10 (Mirroring plus Striping - 1+0) - Can survive single drive failure. Faster reads and writes. (Minimum of 4 Disks)
